    Informal Dance Concert    Posted: Nov 13, 2007
    An Informal Dance concert will be held on Wed., 11/28 at 4pm & 6:30pm in the dance studio (PE124) – Student Recreation Center. Dancers will be coming to the 1107 classes this week to sell advance tickets or they may be purchased at the door for $10, cash or check. **For some sections this event occurs after the scheduled dates for Test #3, last round of Extra Credit or Substitutions. If you wish to use this for credit, you MUST receive prior approval from your instructor.**

    Course Description
    Arts in Society: Theatre and Performance studies the value of the arts as vital and relevant forces in the lives of human beings, with particular focus on the arts of theatre and performance. Through a variety of aesthetic experiences that include live performances, art exhibitions, music concerts and multi-media excerpts, students examine elements of theatre, performance, music and visual arts and investigate the ways in which they reflect our experiences, express and arouse emotion, foster community and deepen our understanding of humanity.
